From Zero to Fifty: What I Learned Hitting My First YouTube Milestone

There’s a specific kind of adrenaline that comes with refreshing a Creator Studio page and seeing a number tick upward.

Today, that number hit 50 subscribers. For those of you in the US and Canada who have been following along, you know the creator space is crowded. It’s loud. It’s easy to feel like you’re shouting into a void. But hitting 50 subs taught me three things that I think every new creator (or hobbyist) should hear:

1. The First 50 are the Hardest

Going from 0 to 1 is a psychological hurdle. Going from 1 to 50 is a grind. It requires showing up when the "algorithm" doesn't know you exist yet. If you can find 50 people who care, you can find 5,000.

2. Consistency Over Perfection

If I waited until my videos looked like a Netflix special, I’d still have 0 subscribers. The 50 people who joined this community joined for the value or the vibe, not the 4K color grading.

3. Community is Global, but Support is Local

A huge shoutout to my North American community. Seeing the engagement from [mention a few cities like NYC, Toronto, or LA] has been incredible. Having that localized support makes the "Internet" feel a lot smaller and more like a neighborhood.

The Road to 100 We are officially halfway to the first "triple-digit" milestone. To celebrate, I’m doubling down on [insert upcoming project].
